Day 1 | USA - Athens, Greece  

Our Greece and Turkey adventure begins as we board our international flight bound for Athens, the capital of Greece, and the oldest city in Europe city unique heritage.

Day 2 | Arrive in Athens  DH

Arrive in Athens and meet our transfer assistant in the arrival hall at airport for transfer with private motor coach to the hotel. Check in to our hotel. In the evening enjoy dinner at hotel.

Day 3 | Athens - Acropolis - Plaka - Athens  B,D

This morning starts with a city tour of Athens, meeting three neoclassical buildings of the Academy, University and National Library, passing by the Parliament Building and Constitution Square, onto the Temple of Zeus, the Stadium, where the First Olympic Games were held in 1896, and the Statue of Harry Trumann. Next a guided tour of the Acropolis* will follow, seeing four fabulous buildings that stand on it, the Parthenon*, the Erechtheion, the Temple of Victory, and the Propylaea. Conclude the day with a guided visit to the New Acropolis Museum*. Enjoy some free time in Plaka before heading back to our hotel.

Day 4 | Athens - Piraeus - Aegean Sea Cruise - Mykonos  B,D

Morning is free for leisure before you are transferred to the dock in Piraeus to board the Aegean Sea Cruise ship. Later in the afternoon arrive at Mykonos, the most cosmopolitan island in Greece, famous for its amazing sandy beaches, picturesque villages and the vibrant nightlife. Free at leisure for you to explore this beautiful island. Walk from the dock to Mykonos downtown, or simply lounge on the sandy beaches, or perhaps dip into one of the island's loveliest churches. Dinner on board and overnight while sailing to Kusadasi, Turkey.

Day 5 | Kusadasi, Turkey - Ephesus Half Day Tour - Patmos, Greece  B,L,D

Early morning arrive at the port of Kusadasi. Disembark for an inclusive half-day excursion to Ephesus*. The tour leads us to the Temple of Diana, Fountain Trajan, the Forum, the Odeon (Concert Hall), Library of Celsus, Thermal Baths of Scholastica, and the Great Theatre. Walk along the Arcadian Way, where Mark Anthony and Cleopatra once rode in procession. Then, visit the House of Virgin Mary*. Before heading back to the harbor, enjoy some free time in Grand Bazaar. Lunch on board while sailing to Patmos, an island where St. John wrote the Book of Revelation. On arrival, why not take an optional excursion to the Grotto of Revelation and St. John's Monastery? Dinner on board and overnight, while sailing to Crete Island.

Day 6 | Crete - Minoan Palace Excursion - Santorini - Oia Village Excursion  B,L,D

Crete is the largest and the most rugged of the Greek islands, also the home of the great Minoan Civilization and the mythological home of Zeus. The half-day tour to Knossos Minoan Palace* is included for you. Drive through the town of Heraklion, arrive in the Knossos Excavations. Here, your guide will lead you on a journey of discovery to the sophisticated culture that flourished thousands of years ago on this island. Lunch on board while sailing to Santorini, an ancient island that endured one of the largest volcanic eruptions in recorded history and is famous for breathtaking scenery. Our Santorini visit features an inclusive Half-day Excursion to Oia Village*. An unique opportunity to admire the panoramic view of the Aegean Sea and nearby islands will be given.

Day 7 | Piraeus - Olympia - Nafpaktos  B,D

The ship arrives in Piraeus . Disembark and drive to Peloponnese. On the way to Olympia, make a short stop at the famous Corinth Canal. In Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games and Zeus' sacred place, a guided tour leads us to the archaeological site and museum including the Olympic Flame, the symbol of the Olympic Games. Continue our drive to Nafpaktos for dinner and accommodation.

Day 8 | Nafpaktos - Delphi - Athens  B,D

Early morning departure for a guided tour to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world and the most important oracle in the classical Greek. Visit the ancient Sanctuary of Apollo and the Museum, then we walk through the sacred way to the archaeological site, visiting some different treasures including the Temple of Apollo, the Theater, and the Castalia Fountain. Return to Athens later and check in to our hotel.

Day 9 | Athens - Istanbul, Turkey  B,DH

If time permits, you may join the optional tour to the famous Cape Sounion before boarding a flight to Istanbul, the largest city and administrative capital of Turkey. Upon arrival take an orientation tour of the city. Enjoy Dinner at hotel this evening.

Day 10 | Istanbul - Bosphorus Cruise - Istanbul  B,DS

After breakfast, coach to Old City for a Full Day City Tour. Morning visits feature the majestic Suleymaniye Mosque, Chora Museum, and the Spice Bazaar. After free time for lunch, take a Cruise on the Bosphorus*, the legendary strait separating Europe and Asia. Along the strait, take in the landmarks: the Dolmabahce, Beylerbeyi Palaces, wooden 19th-century seafront mansions and villages. Coach back to hotel after disembarkation from the cruise. In the evening, meet up with your fellow travelers for Traditional Turkish Dinner Show.

Day 11 | Istanbul  B,D

Coach to Old City for a classical Old City walking tour. Our morning tour features visits to the magnificent St. Sophia Church and Topkapi Palace. Enjoy free time for lunch and later, perhaps take an optional tour to Underground Cistern. In the afternoon sightseeing tour, admire the Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque), Hippodrome and Obelisks, and the maze Grand Bazaar. Later in the evening gather with your fellow travelers to toast your journeys at dinner.
