Deposit:
A deposit of US$300 per person is required at the time of booking of the reservation. Reservation will automatically be canceled if the deposit is not received by Peony Tours, a Ritz Tours Inc. company, within 7 days after booking of the reservation. A copy of passport should be provided to Peony Tours. All documents and tickets will be issued under the passport name.

Final Payment:
Final payment of the total tour fare is due 60 days prior to the departure date. If your payment is not received by the due date, the reservation will be subject to cancellation and deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellation:
The following fee will be assessed per person accordingly when you cancel your reservation:

• US$100: 120 or more days prior to departure date
• US$200: 60-119 days prior to departure date
• US$300: 30-59 days prior to departure date
• US$500: 15-29 days prior to departure date
• US$1000: 3-14 days prior to departure date
• 100% of tour fare: Within 48 hours prior to departure date including no shows on departure date.



• All cancellation written notice must be received by Peony Tours either by mail, fax, or email. Oral cancellation by phone will not be accepted.
• In addition to the above stated cancellation charges, if tickets for airlines, cruise or trains have already been issued or final confirmed at the time of cancellation (regardless of number of days prior to departure), the traveler will be assessed an additional cancellation penalty and service charge pursuant to the related supplier’s rules and regulations.
• In the event of cancellation by your travel companion or roommate, you are responsible for the additional resultant single supplement.
• Peony Tours reserves the right to issue airline tickets immediately upon receipt of your tour deposit.

Travel Insurance:

• When you confirm a reservation and full payment is received by Peony Tours for a scheduled group series (exceptions: online specials or any other promotions) at least 60 days prior to departure date, Peony Tours will provide coverage of your vacation travel (limited to U.S. and Canada residents) through Travel Guard, a third party insurance carrier, at no additional charge (see details of coverage in this brochure and at www.peonytours.com)
• We also offer an optional protection plan at your own expense, when you make reservation or final payment inside of 60 days prior to departure.
• Insured customers should direct any claims request to the insurance company.

Air Transportation:

• A round trip international air ticket is included with the tour for passengers departing from New York(JFK).
• Please consult your travel agent regarding the air fare if you are departing from gateways other than the airports specified.
• Peony Tours reserves the right to change international airline used.
• Air routing is at the discretion of Peony Tours for all of our tour packages.
• Up-to-date tax rates and fuel surcharges are available at www.peonytours.com
• If final payment is not received by Peony Tours 60 days prior to the departure date, or reservation is made inside of 60 days prior to the departure date, booking is subject to availability.

Hotel Accommodation:

• Based on two adults sharing one room, double occupancy.
• Generally, hotel rooms and beds in Europe are small and compact. Triple rooms are subject to availability. Please call Peony Tours for details.
• Please specify single or double beds you request at the time of reservation. A customer who travels alone is required to pay the single room rate.
• When the hotel listed in the brochure is not available or additional rooms are required, the same category hotel will be substituted without prior notice.

Meals:
Meals included as mentioned in the itinerary.

Sightseeing:
While sightseeing program is specified in the itinerary, its final arrangements will be determined by local tour escort or tour manager based on circumstances which may be beyond the control of Peony Tours, such as weather, acts of God, dangers, incidents to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of government or authorities and wars under local conditions. However, we will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible. Any unused tour feature either on air transportation or for land arrangement is not refundable or exchangeable.

Admission / Entrance Fee:
All necessary main entrance fees and cruise tickets for the programs mentioned in the itinerary are included.

Any personal charges such as phone bills, postage, laundry, drinks, Insurance premiums, porters, beggage handling service, excess baggage charge, passport, visa fees, etc

Any optional activity not included in itinerary.

Any meals not included in itinerary.

Tips to tour guides, drivers, bellmen, etc.

Transportation between your hometown and gateway city.

Charges arising from deviation, any expense due to delay or change of schedule, over booking of accommodation, default of any third party, sickness, weather, strike, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majeure, acts of government’s civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations, epidemics, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond Peony Tours’ control.

Any arising charges for airport taxes, air ticket taxes, and any fees levied by local, state or federal government agencies.

Unused tour features:
Any unused tour features either on air transportation or for land arrangements are not refundable, exchangeable nor transferable.

Tour Price Guarantee:
Your tour price is guaranteed once Peony Tours has received your full payment. Only flight schedule changes which require additional nights and cost to be added to the package will result in an assessment to each passenger.

Group Materialization:
When the total number of tour members should fall below 15 persons, Peony Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour, or to change the hotels, or to operate as locally hosted tour. If we cancel the tour, the tour fare except visa fees will be refunded.

All tour programs in this brochure are mainly narrated in Mandarin Chinese with brief English summary (if necessary). Exception: Some departures of PEI, PEF, PTC highlighted in red will be orientated throughout in English only.

Baggage:

• Baggage is at owner’s rick throughout. Excess baggage charge and insurance is at owner’s responsibility.
• For up-to-date baggage allowance restrictions, always check with the appropriate airlines for the latest regulations.
• Baggage allowance varies by airlines and is subject to change at any time.
• Some airlines may impose additional charges if you choose to check in any baggage. Please contact your airline or refer to its website for detailed information regarding your airline’s checked baggage policies.
• Excess baggage charge and insurance is at the owner’s responsibility.
• For your own convenience and due to the European bus capacity, we recommend one check-in luggage and one hand-carry small piece per person.

Passport / Visa:
All customers’ passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of your trip. Please consult your travel agent if you have a non-US passport. Visa fee is non-refundable for any reason. Peony Tours is not responsible when you are denied entrance for any reason at foreign country, even if you have a valid passport and visa.

Charges for Child:
For child 11 and under, if sharing bed in a twin room with two adults, will be charged at the 85% of a regular adult price; if requesting a bed, the cost will be same as the regular adult price. Child 12 and older will be charged at the regular adult price.

Deviation Charge:
Deviation is subject to availability. There will be a US$50 per person service charge for any deviation from the tour.

Change Fee:
One change is allowed free of charge after your reservation is confirmed, based on availability. US$50 will be charged per person for each of the subsequent changes. Once documents / tickets have been issued, no change is permitted.

Peony Tours reserves the right to exclude any passengers as a tour member, when such person’s health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour members. Any unused tour features are not refundable, exchangeable nor transferable.

Health:
To ensure the smooth operation of the tour, Peony Tours recommends that travelers be in good health. Please consult with your physician regarding to your wellness and ability to travel long distances. Any physical or mental disability which requires special treatment or attention must be noted at the time of reservation. Peony Tours will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of disabled participants, but is not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other suppliers. Tour buses are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. Wheelchairs and walkers cannot be carried on tour buses, due to space limitations. We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, getting on/off tour buses and other transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. A qualified travel companion must accompany travelers who need assistance.

Shopping:
To meet your shopping needs, Peony Tours’ tour manager is happy to assist you with any shopping requirements. We do not take any responsibility for any items purchased at shops on the tour. Any after-sales correspondences must be between the customers and the shops. Observe US Customs restrictions when bring in any goods from tour.

The airlines, airport, bus company, hotels, or local travel agency have their own regulations and insurance policies protecting its clients regarding to safety and other issues during the trip. Customers should contact related operator directly since Peony Tours is not responsible for what the insurance of the third party tour supplier covers.

Late Booking:
Last minute booking (within 60 days prior to the departure date) is subject to availability and taken only with full payment.

Brief English translation shown in this brochure is based on the Chinese version. Peony Tours accepts no responsibility for any printing errors or omissions in either Chinese or English version.

Client Privacy:
Peony Tours will not discuss or disclose any details of our client’s trip with any third party other than the client’s authorized agent, the airlines, hotels, land and cruise operators.

The reservation and payment for Peony Tours’ any tour shall be deemed to agree and to be consent to these terms and conditions.

Peony Tours, a Ritz Tours Inc. company, as tour operator, acts only as an agent for contracted services. All travel arrangements included in this trip are made on participant’s behalf upon the express condition that neither Peony Tours nor its agents shall be liable or responsible in the absence of its (or their) negligence for any direct, indirect, consequential harm, or irregularity of any kind which may be accessioned by reason of any act or omission of any person or entity, including without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party such as an airline, train, motor coach, private car, cruise vessel, boat, or any other conveyance, hotel, sightseeing provider, local ground-handler, restaurant, etc., which is to or does supply any goods or services for this trip. Participant understands that Peony Tours neither owns nor operates such third party suppliers and accordingly agrees to seek remedies directly and only with those suppliers and not hold Peony Tours responsible for their acts, omissions or commissions. Without their limiting the foregoing, Peony Tours and its agents are not responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes of schedule, over booking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strike, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majeure, acts of government’s civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations, epidemics, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond its control. All such losses or expenses have to be borne and paid for by the participant.

Peony Tours accepts no responsibility for value, reliability, quality or authenticity of any goods purchased while on tour or for any mailing, freight or shipping arrangements.

Peony Tours reserves the right to decline to accept, or retain any person as tour participant, should such person’s health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour participant.

Peony Tours reserves the right to substitute hotels, and alter the itinerary, withdraw any tour and make any desirable alteration for the convenience of the operation of tours.

Peony Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. Liability for such cancellation is limited to full refund of money received by Peony Tours, and this will constitute full settlement with the tour member.

Baggage is carried at owner’s risk and baggage insurance is recommended.

Peony Tours is not responsible for typographical or printing errors or omissions in this brochure.

Peony Tours accepts no responsibility for cost, which may occur as a result of a participant failing to secure adequate insurance coverage, which coverage is highly recommended. Generally, your health insurance does not cover expenses outside the USA.

Peony Tours is not responsible for participant’s visa or passport requirements, nor will a refund of unused services be made, nor reimbursement of any additional expenditure if a participant is denied entry to a country for this or any other reason.

The general conditions under which you agree to utilize the services of Peony Tours may not be amended in any way, except in writing, by an authorized officer of Peony Tours. By utilizing the services of Peony Tours, you agree that the exclusive venue for all claims shall be the County of Los Angeles, State of California, and such claims shall be determined according to the laws and jurisdiction of the State of California.

The issuance of tickets and vouchers shall be deemed to be consent to the above terms and conditions.
