DAY 1

 USA departure
　 Our China vacation starts as we board a flight bound for Changsha, the capital of Hunan.

DAY 2

DAY 3

 Arrive Changsha (D)
　 Board a connecting flight at Hong Kong to Changsha. Upon arrival at Changsha, we are transferred to the hotel. After dinner, we drive around the city for a fantastic night view.

DAY 4

 Changsha - Zhangjiajie (AB, L, DP)
　 The city tour of Changsha features visits to the Yuelu Academy of Classical Learning and the amazing Mawangdui Tombs Museum. Later in the afternoon we board a flight bound for Zhangjiajie. For dinner we are served the local Tujia Minority Cuisine.

DAY 5

 Zhangjiajie (AB, L, DS)
　 Today we start with a tour to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the first authorized national forest park in China. Together with Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve and Tianzi Hill Nature Reserve, it makes up the famous Wulingyuan Scenic Area which is acclaimed for its fantastic formations of peaks, crystal clear waters, spectacular karsts caves and the unrivalled high percentage of forest cover, and is listed as a world heritage site. After dinner, we enjoy the entertainment of the Tujia Minority Folklore Show.

DAY 6

 Zhangjiajie (AB, L, DP)
　 Continue our sightseeing tour in Zhangjiajie with visits to Tianzi Hill and Yellow Dragon Cave, a huge limestone cave in which there are two underground rivers, four waterfalls, 13 caverns and countless stalagmites. We will have a chance to enjoy Hunan local Xiang Cuisine for dinner this evening.

DAY 7

 Zhangjiajie - Changde - Changsha - Chengdu (AB, L, DP)
　 Before we head back to Changsha to board a flight bound for Chengdu, we make an excursion to Changde to visit Taohuayuan Scenic Area. Taohuayuan is particularly famous for plum blossom season in April and May. In other seasons Taohuayuan tour will be substituted by Liuyeh Lake. For lunch a local lake cuisine will be served. In Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, we have a chance to taste the famous Medicinal Food for dinner.

DAY 8

 Chengdu - Huanglong (AB, L, DH)
　 We fly to Jiuhuang Airport, then transfer to Huanglong, the world natural heritage site, famed for its peculiar karsts landscape and multihued ponds that are set off picturesquely by snow-top mountains, vertical ravines, and vast forests. Enjoy our dinner tonight at hotel. * We will stay overnight at Chengdu if the flight to Jiuhuang Airport is cancelled due to any nature elements. In this case sightseeing tour of Huanglong will be substituded by Chengdu Sanxingdui Museum.

DAY 9

 Huanglong - Jiuzhaigou (AB, L, D)
　 Finish sightseeing in Huanglong, proceed to The “Fairyland” Jiuzhaigou. Another world natural heritage site, Jiuzhaigou has been known for its natural wonders in terms of colorful waters appearing to be either magically peacock blue or emerald. All those who encounter it are overwhelmed by the breathtaking beauty of its landscape and lakes, springs, waterfalls, streams, rivers and shoals.

DAY 10

 Jiuzhaigou (AB, L, DS)
　 The whole day excursion explores the fantasy of Jiuzhaigou. Our tour includes visits to Shuzheng Waterfall, Changhai Lake and the River View Pavilion. In the afternoon, we are entertained by the Tibetan & Qiang folklore dance show while visit the Tibetan Village. For dinner the minority traditional cuisine will be served.

DAY 11

 Jiuzhaigou - Chengdu - Emeishan (AB, L, DH)
　 Return to Chengdu by air, transfer to lunch upon arrival. Later we proceed by bus to Mt. Emei, one of the most famous mountains of Buddhism in China. A cable car ride takes us up to the Golden Summit. The Golden Summit rises over 3,000 meters above sea level. There one may find an advantage point to appreciate the sunrise and to view the sea of clouds, the Buddhist lamps and particularly the Buddhist glory which is most wonderful and captivating. Enjoy Emei Vegetarian Dinner at hotel.

DAY 12

 Emeishan - Leshan - Emeishan (AB, L, DP)
　 Take an excursion to the nearby Leshan by bus. The tour of Leshan includes a cruise on Min River, and a view of Leshan Grand Buddha, the largest stone-carved Buddha in the whole world. It’s described as “A mountain emerges as a Buddha, and a Buddha as a mountain.” Finish our sightseeing at Leshan, before we take bus back to Mt. Emei, enjoy the local cuisine - Tofu Banquet for dinner.

DAY 13

 Emeishan - Chengdu (AB, L, DS)
　 Take a motor coach back to Chengdu. On the way we have excursions to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, the world heritage site Du Jiang Dam, Wanjiang Tower, Temple of Marquis Wu. For dinner, we will be served the famous Sichuan local cuisine, followed by the entertainment of Sichuan Opera. As one of the principal genres of regional drama in China, Sichuan Opera is particularly famous for its unique skills in “ changing countenance”.

DAY 14

 Chengdu - Hong Kong - USA (AB)
　 Bid farewell to China as we board our international flight to the USA via Hong Kong.
