We had a great trip with Peony Tours. This is our second round with this company. Our tour guide Jeffery was the highlight of entire journey. He was very thoughtful, attentive to the needs of different members, especially some seniors. Our trip covered the major sites of history. Hotels were comfortable and modernized. We will book more trips next year.

Jacky Gong is a good and experienced tour guide. He took good care of all group members. Hotel, food, Victoria ship are all good.

Everything—from the itinerary planning and the selection of activities to the management of travel distances—was truly outstanding. Our tour guide, Jeffrey, was particularly exceptional; he was incredibly knowledgeable, provided clear and insightful commentary, and demonstrated superb leadership. When one of our group members faced an unexpected incident, Jeffrey went above and beyond to help minimize the impact and get the trip back on track, ensuring that we all arrived with high expectations and returned home thoroughly satisfied. To reiterate, Peony Tours is a near-perfect travel agency, and we will certainly join their tours again in the future.

The best part of the trip was hotels. They were really unique. We were enjoyed the time of staying.

It was relaxing and informative. Got to see lot and rest on bus in between. The places to shop was legit and reasonably priced. The restroom breaks are perfectly timed. It was a great trip

The whole trip was well planned; all hotel accommodations were top tier. We visited many amazing sites even though a lot of time were spent on traveling between places but that was expected. Our tour guide, Ocean, was superb. He is very professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and easy going. Guizhou local tour guide, 阿福, is also a very nice and sincere person. The whole group got along extremely well plus two great guides; it made the entire trip enjoyable.

On the first day of the tour to Yunnan and Guizhou, when visiting the famous fall, in a hurry to find a restroom I momentarily forgot the warning from the tour guide to watch our steps, took a fall going downstairs and hit my forehead with the step. It bled profusely when the local guide found medical stuff and took care the bleeding. On the way back to the hotel, the tour leader Ocean took me and my wife to the provincial hospital and spent four hours going through all the procedures to make sure I am all right. That included CT scan, eye exam, nose exam, close to 30 stitches of the open wound on the forehead and 3 stitches on the nose wound. It was close to midnight when we got back to the hotel. Frankly I would have been helpless to take care of my situation without Ocean. Amazingly I attended almost all the activities the rest of the tour including the four days at the high attitude. 10 days later the stitches were removed in Cunming and no more bandages after another two days, leaving faint, almost non-detectable scar. As for the tour Peony certainly deliver what they promised, with all best available hotel stays and good/abundant meals. Ocean and the local guides not only did their jobs, also tried their best to promote harmony among fellow travelers so everyone had a good time. John Lai (80 years old)

We had a wonderful and memorable journey through Yunnan and Guizhou with Peony Tours. The itinerary was rich and diverse, offering beautiful scenery, fascinating local cultures, and many unique experiences along the way. A special thank you to our tour leader, Ocean Hu, who was excellent throughout the trip. He was attentive, responsible, and always made sure everyone was well taken care of. We would also like to give special recognition to our local guide in Guizhou, Ah Fu, whose professionalism and knowledge made our experience even more enjoyable. Both deserve a big thumbs-up! The only suggestion would be to allow a little more free time in the itinerary. While we appreciated seeing so many wonderful places, the schedule was quite packed and sometimes tiring. A slightly more relaxed pace would make the experience even better. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and rewarding journey. Thank you to Peony Tours and especially to Ocean and Ah Fu for making this trip so memorable!
