On arrival at Xiamen Airport, meet your Peony Tours representative and enjoy a comfortable transfer to your five-star hotel in the heart of this buzzing city. After checking in, enjoy the rest of the day to relax. You may enjoy the amenities at your hotel or set out to discover some of the attractions of Xiamen.
A morning excursion takes you to Gulangyu Island* by ferry. Praised as a “Garden on the Sea”, the island is covered with dense forests, strewn with European style buildings. Your sightseeing tour takes you to Shuzhuang Garden* and Piano Museum*. Return to Xiamen, a panoramic drive showcases the ancient Nanputuo Temple, Yenwu Bridge, and Xiamen University (outside). Afterward, stroll along the main commercial street of the city, Zhongshan Road and enjoy a visit to the beautiful Pailuzhou Park. For dinner, the Xiamen local specialty cuisine will be served.

This morning journey to Hua'an. Visit the historic Hua'an Dadi Tulou Cluster*, one of the most magnificent Fujian earth buildings in China and the symbol of all Tulou. A UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Later in the afternoon return to Xiamen via Island Ring Road. Tonight, sample the Xiamen local seafood cuisine.

This morning continue your tour of Xiamen with a visit to the Hulishan Fortress*, later stop at Wuyuanwan Wetland and Jimei College Village. Later visit the Xiamen Laoyuanzi Scenic area, a popular tourist spot. Afterwards, explore The Laoyuanzi Folk Culture Park* and enjoy the “Legend of Southern Fujian” Show. Later travel by bus to the ancient city of Quanzhou. View Tumen Street, the main shopping street in Quanzhou and marvel at the old world charm of the numerous historic temples and buildings.

Begin exploring Quanzhou with a visit to Kaiyuan Temple, the largest and most famous Buddhist temple complex in the city. Located Nearby is the famous East-West Pagodas. Later visit the huge Guandi Temple and the landmark Luoyang Bridge, one of the oldest bridges in China, conclude your city tour of Quanzhou. From there a high-speed train brings you to Wuyishan, a remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site, both for its stunning natural surroundings and wealth of culture. Upon arrival at Wuyishan, head to Wuyishan Square, and enjoy a local Wuyishan Tea Banquet for dinner.

Your exploration of Wuyishan today begins in Tienyou Peak Scenic Area*. Explore the beautiful Clouds Nest and Tea Cave. After lunch, experience the exciting bamboo rafts on the Nine-Bends Stream*. Then visit the Wuyi Palace* and Street of Song Dynasty*. As the day ends, savor the local flavor with mushroom cuisine for dinner and then enjoy a special outdoor “Impression Dahongpao Show* directed by the renowned Chinese filmmaker Zhang Yimou. (fee will be refunded if the show is canceled as a result of unforeseen circumstances.)

Today starts with an excursion to Dahongpao Scenic Area* (Big Red Robe). This enchanted valley produces the best tea in Southern China, praised as the “King of the Tea”. Today’s tour features visits to Shuilian Cave, Hawk Beak Rock, and Binxi Path. Later, travel by high-speed rail to Fuzhou, the capital city of Fujian Province, and explore by coach the city-center Wuyi Square. For dinner enjoy Fuzhou local specialty cuisine including Fish Balls and Litchi Pork.

Spend the whole day touring Fuzhou. First stop is the ancient Gushan Scenic Area, where you will have the chance to explore a well-preserved Taoist temple, Yongquan Temple*. After lunch continue the city tour of Fuzhou discovering Panda World*, the West Lake Park, with a final stop at Nanhou Street of Sanfang Qisiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys). This evening, for dinner, enjoy a local specialty Fotiaoqiang (Buddha Jumping over the Wall), the most renowned traditional dish of Fuzhou.
