The chance to see parts of the world and lifestyles we could see nowhere else, like the Gobi Desert, riding camels, experiencing the fabulous Mogao and Bingling Grottoes, going to the farthest reaches of the Great Wall, the beautiful boat ride on the Yellow River, all these things and so many more, we could only do on this tour.
Our tour guide, Gary Guan, was amazing as well- he was attentive, caring, and obviously genuinely loved sharing with us his love for everything we were experiencing for the first time. Just fabulous!

We took the Switzerland tour with Peony Tour in May 2026. It was an amazing scenic trip with lots of variety. It was a spectacular experience. We enjoyed the most spectacular scenic train rides (the classic Interlaken Express, Glacier Express, GoldenPass Express and Bernina Express) and various tours (e.g. Mount Titlis, Lake Lucerne…). We visited Montreux, Zurich, Lucerne, Montreux, Zermatt, Lugano and St. Mortiz and we enjoyed each town along the way. The Alps crossing and cable car ride was breathtaking. I have been on many tours and this one was top notch. The hotels were comfortable and well located. Peony tour covers porter services to collect our tagged bags directly from outside of our hotel room early in the morning and delivered directly to our hotel room before we arrived to the hotel. Our tour guide JeFFrey Lin was professional, very knowledgeable and well organized. He made sure we had the right balance of information and free time. He shared so many hidden memorable stories. This tour was a dream and the scenery tied everything together beautifully and I left full of wonder and gratitude.
Bonjour! This was one of the best trips we have taken with Peoney Tours. We have been touring Europe with Peony over the past 25 years. We really like Li as our tour leader. She was very dedicated, knowledgeable, and organized. She demonstrated high level of professionalism, compassion and leadership. We have learnt a lot of French culture, history, geography, etc. Since Li is absolutely fluent in French, besides serving as our interpreters from time to time, our daily French lessons added more color and joy to the entire tour.
